Application of intense pused light (IPL) for hair removal are gaining favor among methods, including lasers, because of its noninvasive nature, versatility regarding different skin and hair types, safety, and ease of use. Multiple lasers and IPL sources have been shown to provide long-term hair removal; however, the management of all dark skin phenotypes and light-colored hair remains troublesome.
