Laser Epilation

Several methods have been applied to treat excessive hair or to remove physiologic hair over the skin. Almost all of the methods provide transient solutions and carry the risk of irritant or allergic contact dermatitis, increase in hair volume and infection. The only method so far is electrolysis that has permanent effect; however it is not widely accepted as it is painful, takes time and may cause scarring. Light systems have become one of the popular applications after 1996 when it was first used in USA for the treatment of hair removal.
